DescriptionSquare shawl of wool twill tapestry designed to be worn folded; main field of solid black surrounded by triple border, the central band woven in polychrome palmette design and stitched on; outer border formed of two sizes of small bits of different colored ground embroidered with polychrome wools in niche-enclosed floral designs and short fringe; inner border of smallscale flowers symmetrically arranged and embroidered with polychrome wools.
