DescriptionMan's semi-formal court robe (jifu) with horse-shoe cuffs and side opening with round metal buttons and design of stylized of waves and mountains across the bottom, above which are five-clawed dragons and clouds in shades of blue, green, yellow, pink, red and white silk and gold metallic thread discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a pale blue silk satin ground. The collar and cuffs are of dark blue brocaded silk. Lined to the waist with bright pink plain-weave silk. See note on 02.48.
