右小景十幀,為東園娛閒遊戲之作。或規模古製,亦間出新意,不循畦徑。無煩繪采,欲墨章水暈,自備五色。非得像外之賞者,未足於觀此畫也。甲辰臘月八日惲壽平識
To the right are ten small scenes playfully painted by Dongyuan [Yun Shouping’ in moments of leisure. Though they are executed in an antique style, some new ideas appear here and there, so they do not follow the same old paths. I did not bother to add colors for I wanted all five colors to be fully conveyed by the ink tones alone. Only someone who can appreciate things beyond their forms is capable of contemplating this painting. Inscribed by Yun Shouping on the eighth day of the last month in the jiachen year [1665].
