DescriptionThe spoon has a fig-shaped bowl and a tapering hexagonal stem. The finial depicts Saint Andrew holding a saltire cross. On the top of the nimbus is a dove. The bowl and stem of the spoon are forged from a single piece. The figure, nimbus, and cross are cast and applied. The gilding on the finial has been renewed.
