DescriptionThe cup rests on a low spreading foot. It has slightly flaring sides and a plain everted rim. The surface of the body is chased with a stylized pattern of flowers inside an arcade of pointed arches against a matted ground. In the center panel of the cup is an oval containing pounced initials and a date. On the inside base of the cup is a chased flower within a double dotted hexafoil and a circle. The S-shaped handles are modeled with scrolls. The body of the cup is raised and chased. The formed foot and cast handles are applied.
