DescriptionOvoid body with domed lid. Body decorated in blue and white with floral groups, including lotus blossom, interspersed with birds. On one side, a Chinese pheasant standing on a rock; on the reverse, a lotus plant with birds above, and sun abvove. The low domed cover is decorated with a single large flowering branch. Secondary lead "kwart" glaze creates the brilliant white ground.
