DescriptionFrontal figure, hollow cast in one piece, standing on a hexagonal corbel; vertical opening (48 x 10 mm.) for attachment in the back. Clutching an open book in his left hand and raising his right, the figure wears a dalmatic and alb with an amice around his neck and a maniple over his left arm. The garments fall in deep straight folds, breaking into angular ones at the feet. He has short straight bow-cut hair with a tonsure, and his face has small fine features, deep-set eyes, and an angular jaw.
