DescriptionThe vessel has a bombé body and rests on a domed, spreading foot with a band of chased scrolls and flowers around the rim. The foot is formed of sheet, raised and chased, with an applied square wire around the rim. The body of the vessel is raised from sheet and has chased swags of flowers aligned with the shaped, notched rim. The rim is decorated with cast flowers, scrolls, and shells applied against a matted ground.

On underside of bowl, maker's mark WG (Grimwade 3147); leopard's head crowned; date letter t; lion passant.
