DescriptionThe large oval sauceboat has a wide pouring lip and an everted, fluted rim. Formed from sheet, it rests on cast scrolled legs with shell feet and a spirally fluted mount at the join to the body. A handle formed of two C-scrolls, cast in halves and seamed vertically, is mounted opposite the lip; it has been repaired at the join with a patch.
