DescriptionThe tall, urn-shaped coffeepot rests on a flaring oval foot on a rectangular base. The base and stem are formed of several pieces of cast and fabricated sheet, with a gilt border and a bright-cut garland around the oval foot. The lower half of the plain raised body is chased with fluting. A curved spout with fluting is cast and seamed vertically. The hinge cover is spool-shaped with an oval domed top form of a reclining spaniel. The ear-shaped wooden handle is mounted on fabricated cylindrical sockets.
