DescriptionGround of dark brownish purple wool; deisgn of green, red and brown wool, natural-colored linen and gold wrapped silk; consists of a square and an octagon connected by two bands; in the octagon is Dionysus and Ariadne identified by an inscription and in the square is a bust crowned by a wreath, probably representing Dionysus; each of the two bands encloses jewel-like motifs that simulate a necklace.
