DescriptionBody of tropical hardwood, bulging at center and flared at both ends. Upper end capped with bone disk. Lower end capped with blackened wax or pitch for tuning. Small squares of gold leaf applied on front and back of upper end. Pairs of fine turned lines along center section, surrounding fingerholes. Six fingerholes placed in groups of four and two. Conical bore.
