DescriptionCup has a seamed body curved inward at the bottom and is set on a ring foot with stamped acanthus decoration. It has a ribbed strap handle and applied rounded bead at the upper rim There are several small dents in the body.
Marks
Stamped on the bottom "W. Thomson" in script within a rectangle.
Inscriptions"Catharine Rogers Winthrop" engraved in script on the front of the cup opposite the handle.
