DescriptionThe spoon has an upturned midrib handle terminating in an elliptical bowl, flattened and slightly worn at tip, with rattail on back.
Marks On back of handle, marked "I. BURT" in roman letters within a shaped cartouche.
InscriptionsEngraved "A [Latin cross]L" in roman letters on back of handle tip.
ProvenanceOriginal owners unknown. Acquired by the donor, a collector of silver, sometime during the twentieth century.
