DescriptionRoyal blue ground, cup cylindrical with oval reserves on which is printed Venus among garlands with Cupid offering fruit, flanked by interlaced festoons of pearls, gold and coral baguette jewels bordering oval medallions enclosing branches. Saucer decorated in like manner with round reserves with countryside scene, helmet-shield and torch in foreground. Painting in the manner of Boucher. Jewel imperfections on cup-one on base rim-two bordering right of oval painting. Saucer has three missing from base circle. Seven imperfections in festooning.
