DescriptionCircular medal of Leonello d'Este (born 1407, marquess of Ferrara 1441-50).

Obverse: Profile bust of Leonello d'Este looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "LEONELLVS MARCHIO ESTENSIS" [words separated by olive-branches].

Reverse: A head with three faces; on either side is an olive branch; inscribed at edge "OPVS PISANI·PICTORIS".
