DescriptionInterior: A bream, a striped bream, a red mullet, and a shrimp swim around the central depression. The fish are tinted with streaky dilute glaze. Added yellow is used for the shrimp and for stripes and dots in the fish; added white is used for fins, tails, gills, bellies, mouths, and other details. Wave-pattern circles the central depression, which is decorated with concentric circles. A band of dots, suggestive of dicing, runs around the top of the outer rim, and the overhanging rim is circled by a laurel wreath. Compare the "Paestanizing" dotted band on the Campanian fish-plate, catalogue no. 88.
