Squat Lekythos
about 320-300 B.C.
There are yellow rays on the neck; a yellow stripe framed by white stripes nearly circles the shoulder, stopping at the handle. Circling the body is a broad band of white, crosshatched lines forming a net-pattern. A red stripe framed by white stripes circles the lower body above the foot.
This type of decoration is more commonly found on taller lekythoi or bottles, such as cat. nos. 124 and 125.
