DescriptionHead of a man-- bald headed, heavily lidded eyes and eyebrows that arch back over his furrowed brow, a long hooked nose, large ears, thick lips parted in a grimace. Facial type associated with mimes who did not work with a mask--not unusual for the ugly and deformed to work as entertainers.
ProvenanceBy date unknown: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in Smyrna.); purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren, 1901
