DescriptionThis amulet is of a blue glazed faience standing figure with a knife in each hand and a scarab on his head, representing Pataikos. There is a suspension hole through the scarab. On the Reverse lies an "ankh", disc, and eye of Horus (wedjat) in low relief. It is housed with 24.688.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, Ku. 53 (tomb of Queen Tabiry). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
