DescriptionThis necklace is composed primarily of seventy-two carnelian disc and ring beads, one of which is faceted, eleven faience ring beads and amulets, and one large lapis lazuli rectangular bead drilled along the length and width.
ProvenanceFrom Mesaid, grave 808. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
