DescriptionThis example has all of the characteristics described by Noe as #1 on his sequence for the Oak Tree Shillings. It is the only type that uses colons between before and after the IN on the obverse inscription. On the reverse, the ND: of ENGLAND falls directly below the XII of the denomination and includes a obvious die-break.
