Obverse: Profile bust of Louis XIV as a child looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "LUDOVICUS XIIII·REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS." and under bust "I·MAVGER·F·".

Reverse: Young Louis XIV and Queen Regent sit together on throne at proper right under canopy and overlooking the balcony; inscribed at edge "ANNAE AUSTRIACIAE REGIS ET REGNI·CURA DATA" and in exergue "M·DC·XLIII·".
