DescriptionThis large Kashan star tile has a calligraphic border in reserve (that is, scratched through the reddish luster background.) The central star shows a vine growing in wide circles, from which spring stylized leaves also in reserve. Among the leaves are some 15 birds, of very similar shape to the leaves.
