DescriptionValance of red plain-weave wool with design in main field of mythological lion dogs, phoenix, peonies and butterflies embroidered in polychrome silk and accented with applied framed mirror discs, trimmed on three sides with black plain-weave wool with butterfly and floral motifs embroidered in polychrome silk; top panel of black plain-weave wool with design of various auspicious symbols embroidered in polychrome silk, trimmed on three sides with orange plain-weave wool with design of floral and butterfly motifs embroidered in shades of blue, black and white silk; edged on three sides with black plain-weave cotton; along the bottom edge is red silk netting with fringe of pink and red silk with "endless knot" of gold-wrapped thread at the top of each; along the top is a light green plain-weave cotton (?) band; lined with natural plain-weave hemp or linen. One of pair with 11.150.
