DescriptionMoose hair embroidered slipper set in four pieces, including a black broadcloth backed with birch bark on reverse and worked with moose hair in several shades of red, pink, blue, yellow, and green with some white quills, design of flowers and leaves. The two triangular pieces would have used to construct the tops or vamps of a pair of moccasins, while the two rectangular pieces would have formed the cuffs around the ankles of the wearer.
