DescriptionA large 8-pointed Kashan tile, painted in a monochrome brown luster with four plant forms arranged in a cross and with four smaller plant forms at the unoccupied corners. The design is primarily in reserve, but both the reserved white area and the luster ground are extensively decorated or textured by designs painted in luster or incised through the luster ground.
