DescriptionThe high-rimmed bowl has two horizontal handles attached at the widest point of the shallow cup. There is a diamond-shaped design at the handle-zone and a double row of zigzags at lip. Brown on reddish buff. Wide bands of brown on inside. Broken and mended. Bowls like this one are often found in Athenian Geometric tombs as gifts for the dead.
