DescriptionWoodblock print in brownish-red on natural cotton. Alternating repeat of two vignettes; one shows a pheasant before a fountain; the other shows a man on one knee next to a tree, a woman standing behind him holding a shepherd's crook, and buildings in the distance. Selvedge along both sides; red dye somewhat faded; one tear; several small holes.
