DescriptionManchu woman's domestic semi-formal robe (pao) with side front opening of orange twill-weave silk with design of scattered butterflies embroidered in light and dark blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, white, black and brown silk; trimmed with dark blue silk satin embroidered with butterflies and green ribbon floral motifs in bright green, blue, violet, yellow and white silk; sleeves turnbacks are white satin embroidered with butterflies. Unlined.
