This print is a deceptive copy of Edelinck's print (Robert-Dumesnil 4). It appears to be an impression of the extremely rare first state, before the inscriptions "Raphael Pinx." and "G. Edelinck Sculp.", but it differs in a few telltale areas, most noticeably the right foot of the infant St. John the Baptist.
