DescriptionWorked on the sampler are the alphabet, numbers, flowers, a parrot, a squirrel, the date 1765 and rectangular spaces filled with various canvas work stitches. A monogram surmounted by a crown are worked with gold thread and pink and light blue silk. The edge is buttonholed in scallops.
