DescriptionFemale figure with tapestry woven textile head with face divided into three parts with stepped borders between beige, light brown, and red areas with black and white features. The hair is composed of dark brown looped wool (camelid) threads. The body is made from bundled reeds wrapped with cotton and wool threads. The light brown tunic is cotton plain weave and is thought to represent the ordinary, daily wear of women of period. The articulated feet and hands are made from reeds wrapped in red wool (camelid) threads.
