DescriptionThe ground is of white and yellow silk. The design of an ogival frame work enclosing conventional symmetrical plant forms, the centers of which are detailed with triangles and diamonds, is of yellow satin. Same design as 93.760. Gift of Denman W. Ross, Sept 1, 1893. Pieces of this type are called "Italian - perhaps of Milanese make about 1560" by Alan S. Cole in Ornament in European Silks.
