DescriptionFragment of a tunic with two shoulder bands.Warp of linen; ground of red wool; the design on the bands shows standing saints woven with light and dark blue, orange, green and yellow wool, and natural-colored linen; the border encloses floral motifs and heart-shaped leaves woven with red, green, yellow and orange wool on a natural-colored linen ground; the bands are sewn onto a piece of red woolen fabric. Design shows Byzantine influence.
