DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of red wool; design is divided into two horizontal areas, in each is a figure half-kneeling towards a floating figure (an angel?). Probably part of a sleeve band; woven in red, green, yellow and dark brown wool and natural-colored linen. The right side of the fragment is torn; design shows Byzantine influence.
