DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of carmine-red wool; design shows a kneeling putto with wings holding a triangular object, probably a basket. Undefined animals are next to the putto and in the lower area of the band. This is probably the right side of a sleeve band with a central medallion, woven with yellow, green, blue, red and brown wool and natural-colored linen. Design shows Byzantine influence.
