DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of white wool with design in brown, green, red, rose and yellow. Design consists of connected sem-circular motifs, of which each of the three with identifiable motifs encloses sequentially a tree with green branches, a tree with red fruits and a basket of fruit. The remainder of the band is damaged. Probably a fragment of a garment band (neck opening decoration ?). Design shows Byzantine influence.
