DescriptionWarp of linen, the design of scallops, forming sem-circular motifs, in each of which is a pomegranate tree, two fishes, an eagle, a flower tree and a basket of fruit; is of white, red, brown, yellow and green wool. Sewed onto a piece of plain linen cloth. Probably part of a garment border (neck ornament). Design shows Byzantine influence.
