DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of red wool; the design shows a central medallion in which is represented a bust with a haloed head; surrounding the medallion are large indistinct forms, probably floral and animal motifs, of green, dark blue, yellow and brown wool, and natural-colored linen; ground of border is of green wool; weft is very worn on the right side. Design shows Byzantine influence.
