DescriptionThe ground is of gold thread and yellow silk. The design of large ovals with conventional pomegranates and roses interlacing bands, etc., is woven with yellow silk, silver and gold thread and outlines with red silk. "Said to be Spanish and to have been made in Granada in the time of Ferdinand and Isabella." Tex. Reg. vol.3, p.60.
