DescriptionThese earrings are extra long, featuring the iconic ‘All my Ancestors’ Raven’s Tail design. They also have a formline eye designed in Naaxiin style at the bottom of the fringe. Naaxiin, also known as Chilkat weaving is a complex textile that depicts the formline art of the northwest coast. Raven’s Tail is an ancient form of textile weaving practiced by the Indigenous Peoples of the Northwest coast of North America. Once an extinct art Raven’s Tail has seen a major resurgence in the last 40 year. These earrings are a contemporary reflection of this traditional art.
