DescriptionNatural colored linen; with a design woven with red, blue, green and yellow wool and natural colored linen. Design shows an entwined branch with trefoil leaves and floral motifs that stem from both sides; a pendant that ends with a medallion is at one end of the band; the medallion contains a trefoil leaf that stems from a cross. The band is probably a fragment of a shoulder band (clavus). Design shows Byzantine influence.
