DescriptionNatural colored linen; with a design woven with dark brown wool. The design of the lower part of the band shows a vine scroll forming circular ornaments that frame birds and leaves. This part is separated from the upper part by a plain brown rectangular area with a lotus-like motif. The upper portion of the band show two medallions, one encloses a hunter and the other encloses a hare. A pendant that ends with an oval motif that encloses vine leaves extends from the lower end of the band. Design shows Roman influence. Importation 204.
