DescriptionLinen warp; weft dark blue, red, pink, light green and greenish yellow wool and natural colored linen. Design shows two adjacent rows of connected lotus buds (?), each surrounded by a dark blue area. The buds (?) in each row are connected by a stem. The border consists of repeated leaf-motifs. The size of the relatively broad band suggests that it was probably a part of a furnishing cloth. Design shows Byzantine influence. Importation 204
