DescriptionThis piece could be called punto tagliato, cut-work, and is of the same type as 01.6314. It shows how the reticella became more important, leaving less of the plain linen. The foundation lines of punto stuoia and the secondary lines of punto cordonetta show this piece to have been made in the best period. Straight bands of reticella joined by diagonal rows of squares. Tela tagliata. Francesca Amari, 1907.
