DescriptionWhite woolen ground, on which are a cross and four birds, one in each angle of the cross; the birds have topknots, and crosses suspended from their beaks. Jewel-like patterns decorate the arms of the cross. The design is woven with red, blue, green, and yellow wool, and natural colored linen thread. Mounted on linen. The design shows Byzantine influence.
