DescriptionThe warp is of white wool. The design consists of two parallel areas; on each is a putto carrying a bird, flanked by animals (?) and plants. The borders and the stripe between the two parallel areas enclose geometric motifs; the ground is in red wool and the motifs are in dark blue, yellow, green, white, red and brown wool.
