DescriptionDeep, golden-brown ground on which are two lotus-like floral motifs in the center and in the four corners; fish and birds surround the central area. A small cross is on one of the two central flowers.Two borders, one in dark brown and one in red, frame the medallion. Border is pieced. Design is woven with red, green, pink, dark brown and white wool. This piece is evidently from the same garment as 11.1411 and 11.1437.
