DescriptionBand made of more than one piece. On the upper left are two figures framed by a mandorla-like motif and on the upper right are four haloed figures. In the lower half are a female figure holding a child, probably the Virgin Mary and Christ the Child, and a group of haloed figures facing her. The scene may represent the Adoration of the Magi (?). The border on both sides encloses lotus-like floral motifs on both sides of a scrolled branch. Ground of the main area is red and the design is woven with red, green, blue and yellow wool and natural-colored linen.
